POLICIES
-
Everything you discuss in a session with me is strictly confidential, and I will never use your personal information beyond the context of our reading unless you explicitly provide permission. The only exception to this rule is if you’re at credible risk of hurting yourself or others.
-
If you need to cancel a reading, please provide at least 24 hours notice for a full refund. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance of a reading, we can reschedule the reading one time, but I can’t offer a refund at that point, as there is prep work that occurs in advance of every session.
If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, it will be considered a no-show, and a refund won't be possible. You will be able to reschedule once for a late fee of $25. To avoid incurring a late fee, email me in advance of the session to let me know you can’t make it.

It depends. My number one rule is that I must have consent from anyone before reading their chart in a professional setting.
Because most children are not old enough to provide consent, I may agree to read a child’s chart, but only from the basis of helping the parent or guardian better understand their role as caretaker, or better understand the child’s potential.
Similarly for relationship readings, you must obtain consent from the other person if you’d like to compare their chart to yours. However, the most significant people in your life will show up in your own chart or transits, so obtaining their birth data isn’t totally necessary to understand how they’re impacting you.

Astrology is an incredible tool, and I’m committed to doing my utter best to provide accurate, helpful insights to my clients, as well as continually improving my technical skills. However, it’s still a tool, and it shouldn’t override your own personal judgment or sense of agency over your life. In other words, I’m not responsible for the decisions you make as a result of my content. Only you know what’s best for you, and I don’t consider it my role to tell you what to do.

For legal reasons, I must offer a disclaimer that the information I provide you, whether via this website, my digital offerings, my social profiles, or during a one-on-one session, is for entertainment purposes only. However, that doesn’t make it frivolous! I want you to entertain it like you entertain any form of guidance or prompt for thought and reflection.

It’s definitely better if you know your exact birth time. Rising signs (or Ascendants) change every two hours or so, and the accuracy of your house placements depends on the accuracy of your birth time. Houses tell you all about the area of your life that’s being affected by a transit.
If you’re not sure, take your best guess. Just know that if you’re off even by a few minutes, you might wind up with the wrong Ascendant, and therefore the wrong house placements. You might also get the wrong placement for a different planet if it’s close to the cusp (especially the Moon, since that changes signs every two and a half days).
You’ll get a lot more out of your session with an astrologer if you know your exact birth time, so if you’re going to invest the coin into getting a professional reading, it’s worth seeing if you can find your birth certificate or an official record. You might even be able to get this information from the hospital where you were born. It’s worth a call!

All consultations are held remotely over Zoom.

Recordings are available to all clients who want one.
Usually, I’ll give you permission to begin the recording on your end so that the file automatically downloads onto your computer when we’re done, without all the back and forth.
If that doesn’t work for whatever reason, I’ll record it and send it to you when we’re done.

You can request closed captioning instead in your intake form when you book a reading. If you have another preference for accessibility, please feel free to suggest it to me, either in the intake form or via email at steph@ladycazimi.com.

I’m no longer offering sliding scale or supported cost rates for the time being, but I hope to reinstate those at some point in the future. If you’re a student of astrology, you can book a mentorship session with me at 30% off my usual rate. Returning clients can also now book subsequent sessions at 10% off (for appointments that took place after 2/25/23).

NASA totally didn’t change your sign. It’s been a really long time since astronomy and astrology were interchangeable. Long story short, astrologers have been aware of the precession of the equinoxes for thousands of years. Western astrology, which is the kind that’s usually being referred to whenever this story inevitably gets recycled as clickbait, doesn’t rely on the actual position of the constellations, or the sidereal zodiac. Some forms of astrology, like the kind practiced in India, do use the sidereal zodiac. When we talk about Aries and Taurus or whatever in the context of Western astrology, we’re referring to the tropical zodiac, which is linked with Earth’s seasons. That way, 0 degrees Aries always aligns with the vernal equinox.
